A targeted resume (focused on the addressee's concerns) that is realistic, short and sent to the right person, as late as possible, is a determining factor in the success of your candidature.

On the other hand, a resume that does not take into account the addressee (and is focused on you), that doesn't reflect reality, that goes into too much detail and is sent too early to the recruiter is the best way to get yourself eliminated right away.
